Item Details
This signed and numbered giclée print comes from Janet Francoeur’s original watercolor depicting the charming Garden Shop at Tryon Palace. Measuring 13″ x 18″, the print captures the historic beauty of Tryon Palace, North Carolina’s first permanent capitol completed in 1770.
The palace was home to the Tryon family, hosted the first state general assembly after the revolution, and served as the governor’s residence until 1794. Though the original building was lost to fire in 1798, a dedicated 30-year effort rebuilt this treasured landmark.
